Dr. Mona Robbins
Mona Robbins, PhD, ABPP is a Licensed Psychologist and Board Certified in Clinical Health Psychology. Dr. Robbins has expertise in working with adult clients facing a range of concerns from day-to-day complications, career-related stressors, and emotional distress to on-going bouts of depression and anxiety. She has an added and rare specialty in treatment interventions for managing health conditions (cancer, sickle cell disease, diabetes, organ transplant, plastic surgery, chronic pain, pulmonary conditions, chiropractic care, pre and post-operative recovery, etc.). She is also a Perinatal Mental Health Trained Provider by Postpartum Support International (PSI) and provides therapeutic support for women who are looking to become pregnant, are pregnant, or are now reclaiming their identities as new mothers.
Academically, Dr. Robbins has worked as an Associate Professor and psychology clinical supervisor to doctoral-level students within the Department of Psychiatry at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, TX. Her comprehensive experiences have allowed her to offer care and consultation to clients and clinicians across the country providing support to diverse populations.
Personally, she identifies as a wife, mother, daughter, employee, and entrepreneur wearing many hats like the clients she serves. She understands trying to pursue work-life integration and is passionate about supporting the working professional trying to “do it all” and live life without limits.

Education & Experience
Dr. Robbins earned her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Howard University in Washington, DC. She has a developmental and diverse lens for the assessment and treatment of adult concerns.
Her training is also rooted in a clinical internship at the Medical College of Georgia and Charlie Norwood Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Augusta, GA and postdoctoral training at the Children's Medical Center in Dallas, TX.
Her professional work has included providing psychological services to academic medical teams, developing program initiatives for clients and caregivers, and consulting with clinicians to ensure quality care for client consumers and employees within corporate settings.
Dr. Robbins is licensed in her resident state of Texas. She is also approved by the Association of State and Provincial Psychology Boards and the Psychology Interjurisdictional Compact (PSYPACT) to provide teletherapy to individuals across state lines (where approved).
