Payment is due at the time of service and accepted via Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, or Health Savings Account (HSA). A credit card is required on file to reserve your initial session time.
As a private pay provider, services are considered as out-of-network for most health insurance companies. This means that your insurance carrier may cover all or a portion of your sessions. To consider this option, you must call your insurance company to find out if they cover out-of-network sessions. When using an out-of-network coverage option, you will be responsible for direct payment of each session up front. At your request, you can be provided with a “super bill” or a list of receipts and documentation you may need to submit to your insurance company for them to reimburse you directly. It is important to note that some insurance companies will only reimburse a portion of your bill. Additionally, if you have a health savings account (HSA), you may be able to utilize your HSA as a form of payment. You are recommended to confirm eligibility of your HSA with your employer before proceeding with payment through this method.

Good Faith Estimate
According to the No Surprises Act (effective January 1, 2022) you have the right to receive a "Good Faith Estimate" - an estimation of how much your medical and mental healthcare costs might be. This law was enacted to help protect patients from incurring unexpected healthcare costs. If you are using out-of-network benefits, are uninsured, or paying cash for services then your healthcare provider is required to provide you with a Good Faith Estimate (GFE). This is an estimate of how much your care (including mental health services) might cost and does not include any costs incurred due to special circumstances or emergencies. If this happens, you may ask your provider for an updated GFE that includes an estimation of these additional expenses.
Under federal law, if you receive a bill that is $400 more than your GFE, you have the right to dispute it. To learn more about your rights as a consumer or to begin the dispute resolution process please contact the US Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) by going to www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call the No Surprises Help Desk at 1-800-985-3059.
Cancellation Policy
It is our goal to model and encourage respect for your time and the care you receive. However, life is not perfect and things do come up. Should there be changes to your ability to attend a service, please contact our office as soon as possible to consider an accommodation. Appointments canceled with less than a 24-hour notice may result in a $100 Late Cancellation Fee. There is a 10-minute grace period for late attendance after the start of your scheduled session. Arrival after that time will be considered a No Show, and you will be charged the full session rate.
